Celtic Baby Names Book Due Out Next Month

The Celtic Baby Names Book hits bookstores next month (March 27) and we’ll be waiting to review it.

According to the publisher’s blurb on Amazon:

“This unique and charming guide draws on Celtic history and culture to provide expectant parents with over 4,000 Celtic names from Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Cornwall, and even Spain and Italy.”

Sounds good! It’s nice to see Cornwall getting a little visibility in there, and I’m intrigued to see what kind of Celtic names are being included from Spain and Italy. Not the countries you normally think of when Celtic baby names come up.

We wanted to interview the author for our “Guest Interviews” section, but unfortunately, it turns out that there is no single author on this book. It’s a packaged enterprise, more like a group editorial work. Still, it’s the content that counts, so we’ll be waiting for our copy.

If you are interested in names of Celtic origin, you may want to stop by our page of Irish baby names.
